Yes, and this is one of the most common things we're called about in the older Ocala neighborhoods. The original branded part genuinely isn't made any more, but that doesn't matter — replacement handle sets are sold by specification rather than by door brand. What decides the fit is the hole spacing between the mounting screws, whether the latch is center or offset, whether it's keyed from outside, and whether the set is surface mount or mortise type. We measure those, then fit a current set from a maker like Amesbury Truth, Interlock, or Lawson into the original holes. Rollers work the same way — they're made to a handful of standard rail profiles, not per door brand.
Does it cost more to repair a newer impact-rated door in SW Ocala?+
Somewhat, and it's worth knowing why before you get a quote.
